Experience working in an acute care setting or completed acute care clinical rotations required.Required: Ability to delegate. Ability to multi task and prioritize. Follow instructions. Basic ability to use a computer and check email. Oral and written communication skills. Computer skills sufficient to utilize medical records. Critical thinking and decision-making skills. Customer service skills. Leadership skills. Ability to work independently. Accountability. Adaptability. Problem solving. Proficiency in tools and equipment. Time management. Ability to work in stressful situations. Moses Cone, Wesley Long, High Point MedCenter, and Annie Penn Employees: Experience in managing critical care patients preferred. Alamance Regional Medical Employees: Special care nursery experience preferred. 6 months of critical care experience preferred.Required- Licensed by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board (NCRCB) as a respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP). Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a RRT- Required. New graduates or other board eligible candidates must attain the CRT credential to be eligible for hire and the RRT credential within 6 months of hire date. Failure to obtain the RRT credential within 6 months will result in termination. Credential awarded by the NBRC on or after July 1, 2002 are valid for a period of five years and are subject to the continuing competency program requirements. All Women’s Hospital Employees (Additional Requirements): New candidates for hire are required to obtain Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) credential within two years of hire date or transfer date. New hires or transfers must have at least 2 years of critical care experience. All Moses Cone and High Point MedCenter Employees (Additional Requirements): Must maintain I-STAT certification. All Moses Cone, Wesley Long, High Point MedCenter, and Annie Penn Employees (Additional Requirements): Must maintain ACLS. All Alamance Regional Medical Center Employees (Additional Requirements): ACLS certification is required. NRP is required within 6 months of hire date or transfer date. All Moses Cone Pediatrics/PICU therapist (Additional Requirements): Must have PALS certification on file. PALS certification preferred for Moses Cone, Wesley Long, High Point Medical Center, Annie Penn and Alamance Regional employees.PALS certification preferred for Moses Cone, Wesley Long, High Point Medical Center, Annie Penn and Alamance Regional employees. Must have PALS certification- if applicable. – Required.Must maintain ACLS – if applicable. – Required. Must maintain I-STAT certification – if applicable. – Required. Neonatal Resuscitation Program
