Pay Rate: $1350.00 – $2000.00

Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care/Therapy or related field
Experience
• NA
• License/Certification/Registration
• Respiratory Therapist License issued by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Exceptions include:
o RTs hired prior to 7/1/2019 are required to be Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT), RRT is preferred
o New graduates must complete RRT within one year of hire
• · Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Care/Therapy or related field

Employees working at Lakes, Northland, Ridges and UMMCH (Masonic) • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Pediatric Life Support (PALS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Employees working at Southdale, Woodwinds and St. John’s
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Employees working at Bethesda and St. Joseph’s • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Organization Expectations, as applicable:
• Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served
o Partners with patient care giver in care/decision making.
o Communicates in a respective manner.
o Ensures a safe, secure environment.
o Individualizes plan of care to meet patient needs.
o Modifies clinical interventions based on population served.
o Provides patient education based on as assessment of learning needs of patient/care giver.

o Complies with and maintains knowledge of all relevant laws, regulation, policies, procedures and standards.
• Fosters a culture of improvement, efficiency and innovative thinking.
• Performs other duties as assigned
