Looking for hotels near The Sphere? Here are some of your best options.
The Sphere is an immersive entertainment experience in Las Vegas that combines musical performance with art and technology. The venue, which seats over 17,000 guests, has already hosted residencies for some of the biggest names in music, including U2, The Backstreet Boys, and Phish.
If you’re coming to Vegas for a show at The Sphere, location is everything. Waiting for a cab or ride share to and from an event could take upwards of an hour on a busy evening. A hotel within easy walking distance of The Sphere can make your concert experience more enjoyable.
I understand that walking distance can look different for everybody. As somebody who loves to walk, I’ve walked the entire Vegas strip, which is about 3.3 miles, many times for exercise and entertainment. I know it’s entirely possible to walk to The Sphere from the hotels in and around The Strip if you’re up for a walk. However, the hotels near The Sphere in this piece are all under a mile, or closer, to The Sphere.

- Wear comfortable shoes. Between the walk to the show and standing for the concert, your feet will thank you.
- Review The Sphere’s bag policy and what you are allowed to bring into the show so you don’t get held up at security.

The Venetian
The Venetian is your best option for staying close to The Sphere. The hotel is connected to The Sphere via indoor pedestrian walkways, making it the easiest to access. You can also access The Sphere by walking outside on the sidewalks.
The walk from The Venetian to The Sphere can take 10-15 minutes. Give yourself plenty of extra time to walk through the hotel itself and to get through security at the venue.

Overall, The Venetian is a top choice for any Vegas stay. It’s an upscale hotel inspired by Italy, centrally located in Vegas.
The rooms are all suites, there are a plethora of restaurants and shops in the Grand Canal Shoppes, and four pools on the property. You can even take a Venetian-inspired gondola ride. There’s always something to do on The Venetian property.

The Palazzo
The Palazzo is a sister property of The Venetian, which offers a more private and luxurious experience. The properties ajoin and share the same amenities, though The Palazzo tends to be quieter than The Venetian.
When staying at The Palazzo, you can walk to The Venetian and cross to The Sphere from the pedestrian walkway.
The Wynn Las Vegas
The Wynn is located across the street from The Sphere and is approximately a 15-20 minute walk at the fastest. You do have to go outside and on the sidewalk to go from The Wynn to The Sphere; there is no pedestrian bridge.
Overall, The Wynn is another one of my favorite places to stay in Vegas. It’s a luxury hotel with a prime location on the strip. The Wynn has large, spacious rooms, a fantastic Spa, incredible restaurants, and fabulous pools.

Treasure Island
Treasure Island is a moderately priced hotel near The Sphere, for a slightly longer walk. From outside of Treasure Island, it can take an extra 5-10 minutes to get to the lobby of The Venetian.
To get to The Sphere from Treasure Island, you need to take the pedestrian bridge from Treasure Island to The Venetian. Once in The Venetian, follow the signs around the Venetian to connect to the pedestrian bridge to The Sphere.
For the price of the rooms and the great location, Treasure Island is a good value.
Holiday Inn Club Vacation at Desert Club Resort
This hotel is the closest to The Sphere, mileage-wise. It is an easy 5-minute walk down the street to the entrance of The Sphere.
The rooms are condo-style with full kitchens, which is a plus for Vegas. There’s no casino on the property, which makes it a more relaxing stay.
However, this is a time-share based property. While I’ve never stayed there myself, I’ve heard that if you aren’t a timeshare member, you may be approached with timeshare pitches while you’re on the property.
The Linq
The Linq is a moderately priced, centrally located property on the Vegas strip. It is considerably further from The Sphere than the properties listed above. It is about a mile from The Sphere and can take 20 minutes or longer to go door to door.
Staying at The Linq truly feels like you’re in the pulse of Vegas, and you’re a short walking distance from much of the hustle and bustle on the strip.
The Westin Las Vegas Hotel & Spa
The Westin is a great choice to be walkable to The Sphere and the Strip, without a casino in your hotel. It is about a mile from The Sphere, which can take 20 minutes or more to walk.
It does not have a casino, which reduces noise and adds a sense of peace to your stay. If you want to come to Vegas for a show without the hustle and bustle of Vegas, this may be a good location for you. Plus, the Westin beds are my favorite for a good night’s sleep.
Can I Take The Monorail to The Sphere?
If you aren’t staying at a hotel near The Sphere, you may consider taking the Las Vegas Monorail to The Sphere.
The closest monorail station is still a considerable distance from The Sphere. The Linq/Harrahs monorail station is the closest to The Sphere. Expect another 20-minute walk from the station to The Sphere.
