What is MedBridge?

MedBridge is an online continuing education and patient engagement provider for Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Athletic Trainers, and Physical Therapists.

MedBridge is an amazing source of continuing education credits for all therapists.

It is especially useful for traveling therapists who may find it difficult to attend live seminars while on assignment.

As a subscriber, you have access to hundreds of online CEU courses as well as live webinars.

The courses range from evaluation to treatment and from pediatrics to geriatrics. Courses also include topics that deal with compliance.

You get to watch the classes that you want when you need them. No need to wait until a trainer comes to town or spend tons of money to attend a conference. You can earn high-quality CEUs from the comfort of your living room.

The classes are also on demand when you need them. Maybe you are getting a patient coming into your clinic and need to brush up on something specific such as resonant voice therapy or the effects of radiation treatment on swallowing. There is a MedBridge class for that!

How to sign up for MedBridge

  1. Go to MedBridge and click “save now”

What is the MedBridge Promo Code price for 2022?

  • PT/OT education subscription: $225 (regularly $275)
  • PT/OT premium subscription: $275 (regularly $325)
  • SLP education subscription: $120 (regularly $220)

Will my MedBridge Membership Renew at the same price?

No, it will not.

Using this MedBridge promo code locks in your discounted rate for one-year. If you choose to auto-renew your membership, you will renew at the standard subscription rate.

What is the difference between the premium and educational MedBridge membership?

The main difference between the education and premium membership is that the premium membership has patient education and a home exercise program tool for patients. Both memberships come with unlimited access to the MedBridge CEU library.

The patient education in the premium membership includes videos and handouts for patients. You can print or digitally send the handouts/videos to your patients.

Additionally, through the premium membership, you can have your patients set up a program where they can view home exercises and educational handouts that you select for them.

The home exercise program (HEP) builder contains a library of over 5,000 exercises (for PT, OT, and SLP)! Providers are able to text or email the HEP programs directly to their patients or they may also be printed.

Does MedBridge offer live courses?

Yes, MedBridge offers live webinars on their platform. This is especially helpful if you are licensed in states that require live courses and accept live webinars. The topics vary and they tend to do one live a month. I’ve used the live webinars to help maintain my California SLP license.

In 2023, MedBridge is expanding their live course library and is doubling the amount of lives that they are offering in 2023 from what they offered in 2022.

They do not offer live, in-person courses.

Does MedBridge Report CEUs directly to ASHA?

Yes they do! MedBridge reports completed continuing education credits to ASHA within 45 days after the end of the month that the course was ended. Once reported, it could take an extra 2-3 weeks to show up on your CE registry.

While it might take a while for them to show up on your registry, they do get reported. And, you receive copies of your completed certificates in your account that you can access at any time.

Does MedBridge have a free trial?

MedBridge does not have a free trial. However, the website is fairly open and you can see exactly what courses are available on it. You do not have to purchase without knowing if the courses will be ones that you want to take or not. If you go to the MedBridge website, you can be completely signed out and still browse their CEU library.

For example, here is a list of all of the SLP CE courses available

So is MedBridge worth it?

Absolutely, YES! Continuing education courses do not need to be expensive or challenging to complete. In the digital world, we have so much information at our fingertips and MedBridge is a great resource to provide education directly to you, when you need it.

As a traveling speech-language pathologist, MedBridge has been invaluable to me. The last thing that I want to do as a traveler is have to spend a precious weekend of my time taking courses – and especially not for a high price. MedBridge helps me to prioritize education when the time is right and without the large price tag.

I recommend MedBridge to not only all of the travelers I know, but to all clinicians. I am excited to share it with you today and hope that you take advantage of this great offer.

  1. I was instructed to do download this app to by my therapist do my exercises, and was given an access code, does it mean that I have to pay? Which one, 95 or the 200?
